Sure there are thousands of people on these sites looking for people just like you but you also need to understand that there are thousands of people for them to choose from too and you are one of many that they could be looking at, at any one time. What makes you special? Let them know while always remembering to be honest and to present your profile as the person you really are. See what response you are getting and if necessary keep changing your profile until you start getting the results you are after.
